Joining the Kempton Park Farm Family: What to Expect

Application Requirements

All dogs will be required to be fully vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas and worms. Proof of both treatments will be mandatory. We require all dogs over 9 months old to be spayed or neutered, unless otherwise agreed upon. We do not accept any dogs on the premises that are in heat. We also cannot accept any dog breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

All dogs must attend an initial trial session to ensure their suitability for joining our daycare. They must also complete our assessment form, which asks questions about the dog’s tendencies and behaviours prior to their trial session.

Drop Off & Free Play

Dogs are welcomed and checked in by our friendly team before heading into their allocated groups. Groupings are based on a mix of size, age, and personalities and kept consistent each day, so your dog can build strong friendships and enjoy a familiar routine.
Once settled, it's time for supervised free play in our secure outdoor areas, perfect for burning off that early morning energy!

Rest Time

After a busy morning of play, it’s time to recharge. Dogs are settled into quiet, comfortable spaces, either in their group areas or individual crates if requested by owners. This calm break helps prevent overstimulation and ensures every dog gets the rest they need before the next activity.

Morning Play Session

Time to get moving again! Our structured group play sessions keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated. Activities may include agility fun, tunnels, splash pools, or classic ball games always tailored to the needs and energy levels of each group.
Our staff are always on hand to supervise and guide play, ensuring every dog stays safe, engaged, and happy.

Training and Enrichment Time
Midday is all about engaging the mind. During this hour, dogs take part in basic obedience training or enrichment activities such as scent work, treat puzzles, and other brain games. These sessions are designed to boost confidence, encourage focus, and keep minds sharp, especially important for growing pups and high-energy breeds.

Rest & Nap Time
After a busy morning of play and enrichment, it’s time to wind down. Dogs are settled into quiet, cosy areas or crates (if requested by owners) for a well-earned nap. Fresh water is always available, and lunchtime feeding is provided if requested, ensuring every dog is rested, hydrated, and ready for the afternoon.

Afternoon Activities
The afternoon brings more structured fun, with dogs rotating between our three secure play areas to keep the environment fresh and engaging. Whether it’s group games, agility equipment, or simply exploring new scents, our rotating enrichment keeps dogs stimulated and entertained while under constant supervision.

Wind Down & Pick-Up
As the day comes to a close, dogs return to their quiet, comfy spaces for some cuddles and relaxation before collection. Our team ensures every dog has a final toilet break and gives them a quick clean-up if needed, so they’re fresh and happy when you arrive to pick them up.
